Building the infrastructure layer for agricultural methane reduction.
H4Plus is a patented rumen nutrient that increases milk yield by 20 percent and reduces enteric methane by more than 80 percent. The product is the wedge. The business is the platform: the verification, certification, and methodology infrastructure that every CSRD-driven retailer’s Scope 3 reporting will flow through. Twenty years of independent science, a granted US patent, and unit economics that make farmer adoption a productivity decision, not a compliance one.
Approximately 15+ years of mechanism exclusivity remaining.
Across the product line, every territory.
Six hundred and fifty animals, zero adverse events.
Versus 30 percent for the next commercial alternative.
Why farmers adopt without compliance pressure.
Composition uplift on independent trial farms.
Why this opportunity.
The supply chain mandate is real. The major UK milk buyers have committed to thirty percent on-farm methane reduction by 2030. The EU’s CSRD made Scope 3 reporting mandatory. Roughly two thirds of UK dairy by volume is under contractual pressure to demonstrate methane reduction by 2030. The mandate is enforceable through milk-buyer contracts, even though it is not legislated centrally.
The current approach has lost consumer trust. The first commercial methane-reduction product reached the consumer in late 2024 and was rejected within seventy-two hours. The retailers are publicly committed to the 2030 targets and now need a productivity-led, nutrient-based alternative. H4Plus is that alternative.
The economics work without compliance pressure. At today’s UK launch price, H4Plus pays for itself approximately fifteen times over in year one through the yield uplift alone. Farmers adopt for the cashflow. The methane reduction is the structural side effect of the same biology. Both happen at the same time. Both get monetised.
