The Mechanism

K3 Plus works through a process of redox competition.

In a normal rumen, methanogens (methane-producing microbes) use hydrogen to produce methane. This is an energy-inefficient process for the animal.

K3 Plus introduces a preferred electron acceptor. It competes for the hydrogen that methanogens would otherwise use. By capturing this hydrogen, K3 Plus:

  1. 1. Starves the methanogens, reducing methane production.
  2. 2. Redirects energy into volatile fatty acids (VFAs) for milk and meat production.
